Lots of peacock pictures

I have been on a bit of a peacock run recently. Seem to have seen a lot of peacock pictures around and that’s got me drawing some. Peacocks feel a bit magical and I associate them with fairy tales and mythology, even though I’m not entirely sure I can think of any fairy tales or legends starring peacocks (anyone know of any?).

This is the same one, but I bumped up the contrast in Photoshop, to make it more black and white:

And this one looks more like a turkey than a peacock – though, have you noticed, they do have some similarities?

And, of course, there was the peacock patterns (peacock pattern and peacock feather pattern) that I already posted.

I wonder if that’s the end of this phase and if I’ll find some other creature to obsess over for a while? I do quite like how I tend to do lots of one thing or creature for a while, and then move on to something else.
